The back to back hurricanes caused damage to Lido (and other areas) that even long-term residents had never seen. Helene's surge put 3 feet or more water into every building and Milton's winds were major. Many residents across the barrier islands lost their homes. Businesses were equally devastated. The City has started to pick up debris. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: This is significantly more debris than Irma which took over 90 days to pick up. BE PATIENT, CREWS ARE WORKING!
WE POSTPONED OUR MEMBERSHIP MEETING scheduled for October 19th. That program will be rescheduled.
