The American Shore and Beach Preservation Association recognizes individuals and coastal projects each year with a number of special awards.  Lido Beach has been awarded as one of the "Best Restored Beaches -2021".  Winners were announced at the 2021 National Coastal Conference in New Orleans.

Sarasota, FL: Sarasota has been reaffirmed as one of the top 10 Best Places to Live in the U.S. #5 for 2023-24, up from #9 for 2022-23 and retains its #1 in Florida ranking, according to U.S. News & World Report.
