Recently Completed Projects and Activities

Six months following a series of major hurricanes, Lido Key residents showed they were ready to party.  Opal Properties, in particular the Lido Beach Resort staff were incredible hosts.  The hard work the Party Committee put in made for a memorable evening.  Weather was perfect with a warm summer breeze and a Sarasota sunset.  Chef Michael and staff prepared some delicious appetizers, tasty jerk chicken, pulled pork sliders, and grouper entrees and an assortment of desserts including his delicious banana pudding. LKRA Night at FST (2025) was a hit. on Wednesday, April 16th we got to experience a pre-event reception at the Goldstein Cabaret Theatre and then a sold-out performance of Jersey Boys. The production was spectacular.  Thanks to member Pat Nicosia who worked with Florida Studio Theatre to create this very special evening for LKRA.

As LKRA President Carl Shoffstall expressed the morning after:  "What a great show and time last night! Thank-you Pat (Nicosia) for getting this event together for LKRA, as we said last night, I think it will be even better next year".
